    I'm on the fence with this exact set up only in Black or SCS Stealth 6. I like both lol
    how do you like them so far?

    Very happy with the wheel set.

    looked at the SCS as well, but went with the Kansei’s because they were different, quality was spot on, and the wheel weight was low.

    I really enjoyed your build thread! I just got my Kansei KNP’s installed and I love them! I was torn between the ROKU and KNP for quite awhile, just decided I’d pull the trigger on the KNP. I really like the ROKU look though. Mine are wrapped in the Wildpeaks, another tough choice between those or the KO2. I wish I’d have found this thread sooner so I could have picked your brain a bit!

    @kbecerra - Nice Wheels. Would you happen to know the weight of each wheel?

    On Kansei’s website it has my particular wheel for weight as 23.92lbs

    I’ll weigh them myself on a scale this coming Monday. Honestly after picking them up they feel super light lol
    I’ll keep you posted

    @TacoGeeloor , thanks it’s been a process.

    KNP’s are sweet wheels, look forward to seeing some install pics soon. I had Wildpeaks previously, and was very happy with them. So far, the KO2’s seem a little quieter. The WPs I had were laid range E, and the new KO2’s are C. Hoping their lighter weight translates to better mileage. So far, that’s rung true. We spent the last week off roading some rainy fire roads in the local White Mountains of AZ. Averaged 18.2 mpg with mixed driving in both 4HI and 2wd.

    A couple of pics of first dirt with the Roku HD’s and KO2’s…

    A couple more photos from our White Mountain trip.

    Visited this 99 year old fire lookout, had a ten minute download of info from the woman staffing it. A bit surreal shouting to each other, but learned she is the grad daughter of the man who built the first platform, which was simply wood. The current metal formed lookout tower has been in place since 1955, and generationally staffed by a member of her family since the beginning. She kept thanking us for being so polite, my guess is other visitors haven’t been as chill as my wife and I.

    We drove the south eastern portion of FS 300/Mogollon Rim Rd, a normally easy fire road that was made muddy and more challenging by the daily thunderstorms we encountered.

    The ROKU HD's stated wheel weight is 24.8 lbs...and I gotta say I'm a little pissed because I paid a price matched $295 per wheel through Discount Tire...and I'm now getting ads on Facebook advertising a 30% off sale on the Kansei wheels, bringin them down to $185 per wheel.

    @calzonical
    @kbecerra
    @TacoGeeloor

    Good for you guys looking at them "now", a bit of eggish on the face for those of us that paid $295/or thereabouts per wheel roughly a month ago.

    Yeah, I picked mine up at regular retail price. It was less than the Methods I wanted but it would have been nice to save that extra 30%. Maybe now is the time to buy a 5th for the spare!

    True that...ordered mine through DT and took about a week coming from a warehouse in TX. Still stoked to have the wheels, maybe I'll email Kansei for some swag and wipe my tears with free t-shirt...because I grabbed the spare already!?!?:rofl:

    Stoked for you! Beers on you at the trailhead next time...:rofl:

    :cheers:

    lol Beers next time it is. I'm actually thinking of going to Sedona next month. So I'll be trying out this new setup. Btw 3 shops over here in Los Angeles, CA are asking for $350 - 400 for a CMC with the pinch well. Is that a fair price?

    I think so...for quality work, a fair price. I paid $375 and have been very happy. I am a firm believer in you can pay less, but at some point less is usually less. Especially when someone is cutting on your frame.

    Changed the oil at 57,xxx miles and installed a Fumoto valve. Plan was to drain the oil, and change the filter without having to drop the skid plate. That plan failed, as the Allen key interface of the Fumoto valve was in between a 6mm and 8mm, or SAE which I did not have. So, dropped the skid and glad I did, as there was easily another 5lbs of fire road mud hanging around in there. Wrench tightened the Fumoto valve, calls for 25nm bit I used the old German standard of “guttenteit” ;)

    Attempted to change the oil and filter before work on Tuesday morning, but having to drop and clean the skid almost made me late to the shop. Also wanted the chance to get a more detailed rinse of the undercarriage/suspension/cross members with all the dirt that accumulated on the skid. So, de-greased and cleaned the skid, collected all the fasteners in a Ziploc bag for future install, and put it all aside in the garage.

    Also, before buttoning everything up wanted to run the Fumoto valve to ensure no leaks...its Thursday afternoon here in AZ and knock on my wooden head, no leaks. Pics when I get a chance. Did the front rinse yesterday after work, about 3 lbs of dirt came from the cross members and slider areas.

    Thanks man. I barely cleared the Body Mount after installing the 285/70/17 KO2 just like yours and good thing I’m going to get the CMC done tomorrow for that same D92BCD8A-84B4-4AAA-BC8B-4B5FA23CFDC5.jpg
