OK, I'm finally getting around to swapping my 2.5" spacer lift for a "real" lift and have narrowed it down to either the OME kit or 5100/Eibach kit from Toytec...

They are similarly priced (OME ~ $100 more expensive) so that's not a deal maker or breaker. I am rarely off-road and mainly want the 3" for clearing my 33" Duratracs although I do want my truck to be "capable" and not just a poser. I do get some rubbing at certain approach angles at full lock (mainly in reverse) but do also rub quite a bit when my plow is mounted. I run a SnoWay plow so it only weights ~ 300 lbs so it's not a huge amount of weight I need to support. I have a TRD Sport Double Cab long bed and am currently running MB TKO wheels that are 17x8.5 with -6mm offset. I've trimmed quite a bit of the inner fender and had to clip some of the fender flare to alleviate most of the rubbing. I'll trim more if I need to...it's only plastic...it'll grow back!

My main questions is whether the choice of the two that I'm considering is more of a personal preference or if there are other things to consider. I spec'd out the 885 coils with the OME kit and am wondering how the Eibach coils compare to those?

I've been thinking about this for a few years and have been researching this for the last six months pretty religiously. Just trying to make an informed decision and spend my hard-earned money wisely. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Both are solid lifts, I only respond to remind you that you'll have cab mounts to chop as well to stop most rubbing, even if lifted, even if 33's....

I gotta get back under there and see if I'm rubbing on the cab mount. I'm pretty sure I'm rubbing plastic but should see the "witness marks" if I'm rubbing on the cab mount. Thanks for the heads up...
