Real Reviews on Omaha, NE

There is a potential job opportunity at my work for a 4 year job contract in Omaha, NE. I currently live in San Diego, CA and have been here for a little over 11 years. I could do with a change of scenery and maybe getting out of CA for a while. Pro's/Con's about Omaha? Would you leave San Diego?

Other things to consider:
- Pay remains the same aka no loss of pay due to lower cost of living
- Company pays for relocation there/back

Would I be a good fit for Omaha:
- I really enjoy the outdoors (mtn biking, skiing, camping, surfing (obviously no surfing))
- I enjoy cool bars/restaurants
- Would want to live in a downtown/urban environment

I'm just looking for some real advice on Omaha. Been reading some internet reviews, seems to go back and forth.
