good luck getting any of that mod money back. unless you strip it off and go back to stock, then sell off the parts separately.

That's right around what I was thinking too. If you want more than what the base vehicle is worth, part it out, put it back to stock, and sell.

you know what the first thing is a buyer is gonna ask? how hard did you wheel it? guess what is going thru their mind at that moment? i love the upgrades, but damn, it must have been wheeled hard here and there with all that stuff. which will drop their offer price. you might find the random guy that wants to drop 35k on another guys build with who knows what has happened to it

    OME and worth every penny.
I'm curious now. Do any of those crazy priced modded trucks ever sell for close to what is asked?

Yours really is a nice truck but it seems mods are like rust to most people.

    Some Mods
It's a very nice truck and I would mod my 2020 with similar parts but, $35k tops for me too as its a 4yr old truck with almost 60k and that's without knowing if its a AT/MT or Tech and/or Prem pkg.

If you parted out, what could you get for your mods..$5-6k?

This is why I wont touch something thats been lifted. If something has "performance" mods done to it, then there is a 99% chance it was pushed harder than a rental car at the airport.

A clean stock truck, or something with light non-invasive mods is worth more to most people. A truck like that one is deisgned for a very specific person, finding that person is hard.

I’d pay around 35-38k for that truck....

However, once I look at financing options because I don’t have 38k cash in my bank because I’m a 24-38 year old who lives in Southern California and ADHD like any millennial I’d change my mind and want a brand new truck and I’d gladly pay you 4k+for all those mods even though I know they are worth more to each individual separate buyer. I’d pay someone to install them too and then just say they helped me or were my friend and post how I did it basically myself. Until then I’d just spend frivolous amounts of money on mods by doing the way I want to do it even though it’s the same way as you did it, just slightly different (in my mind) plus I’ll know the history of my truck and we all need peace of mind....don’t we?

This is why I can’t wait for Tacoma’s to eventually get out of trend, overland craze to die down, and I can buy awesome Hardly used parts from people who are just over it and bought a raptor because they got kids now.

But damn your trucks build is awesome, and your mods are very nice.

prob 32-35k maybe? I think you'd get more parting it out and selling the truck stock

It's a nice looking truck OP.

KBB puts private resale at around $26k, not including mods of course. I'd pay $28-30k, only because serious mods make me think "driven hard".

Yeah parting out and put it back to stock would be net me more money but I’d rather keep it together and take the loss. As far as condition goes, it’s been off-road only a handful of times and not too hard since it’s my daily. The 20 year old me would’ve jumped this truck but the older me has responsibilities now so I’ve been careful about what I do to it. I was honestly thinking of letting it go around 32k-33k but didn’t know if it would really sell at that price point. Unfortunately I have to move on from it and get a bigger truck, more than likely diesel, to tow more toys.

99% of the time you will never ever get back what you put in parts. Also most people might view that as a negative thing as in "not original" so it's molested or abused.

This can be a good thing for a buyer tho... The best possible deals are for fully built LT trucks (roll cages, LT, aftermarket rear axles) where they are basically selling it at a major loss out of necessity.

I think if you listed it for $35k you could definitly find a buyer at $32k-$33k in California.
