To be honest I would love to keep it and just buy a used diesel to tow but wife wants a little more room inside the cab since my little one sits behind her. This has by far been my favorite truck I’ve ever owned.

How big is this kid or wife(height) or does she just like the seat all the way back.

 

Ask $35k, take less. Be prepared to discuss the value of the mods as part of the deal. The right buyer might not frown. Many won’t like mods, but somebody (like me) might be interested in the utility of some of the upgrades but maybe not the price. If you have a little time, put a for sale sign in the window and see what happens. Good luck!

Hmmmm... if only there was a mid sized truck that fit a family of five. One that isn’t all that cramped until the kids reach 5’7”. Who ever makes that truck would probably sell a ton of them.

Your upgrades arent really going to help you sell your truck. Youre basically advertising that you abused the shit out of the truck by offroading it. Your best betnis turning it back to stock and parting out he upgrades.

Haha yeah no nitrogen but I told the new owner to check it if he wants to. I don’t care what others think but sold it for $31500. Took a loss but life moves on. Literally got in a new Silverado 1500 Trail Boss the same day. Not your ideal off-road beast but I hardly ever off-roaded in my Tacoma so it’ll do.

 

$31500 seems pretty low? Were you in a hurry to sell?

 

Not really since Chevy’s 6k rebate was not over until the end of the month but I listed it at 33k like everyone kinda suggested. Had a bunch of low ballers and a few good ones but it was the first that was serious about it. Cool guy and he appreciated the build so I’d rather see it go to a good home vs some kid that would destroy it. I probably could’ve negotiated higher but I knew it was time to move on.
