    Realalistically till you want to stop paying for repairs and maintenance or it gets in an accident.

    In other words till the wheels fall off then you fix that bitch and keep going, rinse wash repeat.

    But 500k is not unheard of and 300k is kinda becoming the new 100k easily.

    I’m sitting at 140k on my 2005 TRDSport and with Toyota putting almost 20k into it 5 years ago with the frame replacement I’ve decided that if anything major happens to the engine or transmission I’m replacing the parts and keeping the truck. I bought a brand new GTI recently and find that I still love driving my truck after almost 16 years.

    I wave to a guy driving an 85 Toyota truck on my daily commute. Had a chance to talk to him at the gas station, 185,000.mi, all original, been rustproofed, not driven in the winter. Thing looks brand new.
