That's a screaming deal. When I was homeless and had to live in my camper for three weeks, the only thing open was KOA's in my area (fall), and it was about 75.00 per night, no monthly leases. 2019-05-18 18_42_39-Campsite Rates _ Colorado Springs KOA.jpg

Oof, yeah the KOAs are nice for trips, but not long-term. I stayed in a deluxe cabin for a week in Moab, and it was the best money I could have spent for a vacation.

I've found a few realllllly nice places around where I'm looking for work, and so far $400-600/month is the average it seems.

It's why I got rid of my Tacoma for a Tundra. The Tacoma does not like anything over 4.5K or so. It will do it but it's not happy.

I like to give 10-15% on max Gross Vehicle Weight Rating. My queens last Tacoma was a 14' DC Sport LB 4x4, and when we hooked the 16' equipment hauler to it for moving around the property, you could definitely tell it was there (trailer is around 3000 lbs empty). We never used it for tow duties anyway. It was for light duty work, dog parks, kick ass snow travel (loved that truck in the crap weather).

Same with me. I was good with the Tacoma until I hooked up a tilt trailer with a scissors lift on it.

Yep. Sucks to sell Tacoma's (miss all three of mine), but life happens.
