    Hey TW,

curious at what others think my truck would be worth. I 100% know that modding your truck raises no value. But I’d like to give everyone the full details.

    8K miles. 2019 TRD Sport 2WD.

    -Premium / Tech package
-4 inch Maxtrac lift with Bilsteins
    -MESO Interior lights
    -MESO Puddle Pods
    -295/70/17 Nitto Ridge Grapplers
    -17x9.5 Venomrex Coal Black
    -Flowmaster exhaust
    -20% window tint
    -Hood Skewp ( kidding )
-CustomCarGrilles Blacked Out Grille with TSS

Nothings wrong with the truck. She’s been well taken care of. Toying with the idea of getting a tundra..

    Here are a few photos

Seriously, whatever Kelly Blue Book good condition tells you. You like your mods. Others won't. Maybe one will and pay extra but don't bet on it. People want stock so they can make it their own. Dealers mod every now and then but they have hundreds that see it every day so they have a much better chance of selling one they mod. Good luck.

Third gens aren't holding their value for shit. Many 2nd gens priced comparatively when shopping used. Just got rid of my 2018 dclb in cement with 40k miles and wasn't super excited with what I was given. Any mods actually remove value from a truck for 9/10 buyers. I had less noticeable mods on mine than yours and it wasn't helpful.

You will be disappointed, just try to get what you can and look forward. Get a 4wd truck next time too. Also, if you don't have a healthy amount of cash laying around, stick with the tacoma and make your next truck the Tundra. They are about to release a new one, if the new model is well received these older ones might drop in price a bit.

    Lots, straight from the factory.
Strip the mods. Sell them in the marketplace. Trade truck in. I see a vehicle that has already been modded, and it’s a hard pass. Not even considered. Stock will sell easier.

To me? Nothing. It is 2 wheel drive.

Somebody would probably buy it though.

Never trade in your vehicle unless its not paid off and you're getting a newer model. Always sell private then go by your truck. Always get 4wd.

I’d look at KBB for stock value then start subtracting from there.

I’ll be honest I wouldn’t buy your truck. I prefer to buy vehicles that have not been modified but knowing what I know about Tacomas I’d likely not buy one with lifts over 3”. They start becoming problems.

I sold my modified F250 two years ago for above KBB just for the audiosystem. It took me 10 months to sell. It did have a lift and other mods.
Selling modified vehicles really comes down to being able to wait for that one special buyer. Because most people won’t touch your truck.
So I’d list it on some sites and just be patient.

If its practical though, return the truck to stock, sell the mods separately and then sell the truck stock. You’ll move it faster and will likely have more cash at the end of the day.

I wouldn't buy his truck either (not what I need), but someone will be happy as can be driving that around and being willing too.

Nothing, I would never purchase a "modded" vehicle, especially a bro'd out one. However, many folks like that type of look and truck, so use KBB, Edmunds, and Nada to see what a stock Taco like yours for. Take off that stuff and sell it individually.

Like everyone else said, take your mods off and sell them. You'll never recoup your money leaving them on the truck and 2WD kills the resale, in my opinion.

You can privately sell/buy a truck that has a loan on it.

It’s a less desirable 2WD Sport model. Somewhere in the $24-26k range.

My advice? Hang onto it until the new 450hp, 30 mpg Hybrid Tundra arrives next year.
