I went on line to one of the local Toyota Dealers. I viewed a metric shitload of vehicles stating "In stock" even showing inventory lot #s. When I got there, they had just a little bit over nothing for inventory. I asked. where all the vehicles that I saw on THEIR website went. The salesman said "The website is created and maintained by Toyota, NOT by each individual dealership." I'm really not sure but I think he is full of crap. Wondering if it's part of a "Bait and Switch" scam? Needless to say, I did not purchase my truck through them. Anyone have input on this?

Go to another dealer website. My local one has this warning in huge font at the top of the results page:

*Due to high demand and short supply, some vehicles shown online may not be available.

Seems like the type of dealer that’s just trying to generate traffic. Beware, move on.

Sounds like bait and switch. I agree with PzTank that they could have put a notice on their web site about high demand if they weren't trying to lure you in on false promises.
