Almost like people that see expensive prices and think it magically makes it better.
I've noticed most of the people that crap talk the not expensive stuff are simply trying to either justify to themselves overspending, or are more concerned with the image than the function.
I'll always remember the audiophiles claiming the oxygen free pure copper cables that cost huntress of dollars were the best you could get and they could hear the sound quality difference. Then they were shown the wire that was used to connect the speakers to prove their point and they found out it was a 50 cent wire coat hanger.

I ordered a pair of ditch brackets from Cali-Raised and a pair from Rago.
The cali-raised were advertised as the same thickness of steel as the Rago and it was about 1/8" thinner.

The Rago brackets were much better built than Cali-Raised.

When I contacted CR, they said "reinstall them and they wont vibrate".
I also had a ditch light switch from CR that has now failed 3 times. (The Internal spring breaks when on washboard roads)

Here is what I can say for certain:
Rago has always been very responsive and very kind, and has always remained professional.
Cali-Raised is responsive, but not professional and is selling products of lesser quality.

I have had a few (to good to be true) expeariances with ridiculously low cost items in the past.
I do my homework and find products with great reviews and owner feedback .
Once it find what I want I do shop for the best price and best customer service .
But I never have to “justify “ price when I get what I want and need, and sometimes the (want) is greater than the need.

I think he's pointing out that CR does other things that are shady. Walks like a duck, quack like a duck, it's probably a duck.

not sure how it's shady to sell the product they choose to sell?

if you don't like it, don't buy it.

Their price point are what they are because they don't have to do any R&D. They just copy the hard work that other companies have put into a product.

    I beg to differ... but
I'm sorry, but did you miss the section about them advertising specifications of a product that was inaccurate?
