    Why don't you get a Double Cab TRD Off Road Package if you want a Double Cab and a rear locker?

    I have the Access Cab and wish at times I had a Double Cab but I also like having a manual transmission too.

    TRD Off-Road package is not offered on the DCLB. Only the Access cab and DCSB.

    That might be the difference. The one I posted is the cheapest DCLB Sport I have found anywhere. 27k and change asking price....

    A DCLB 4X4 is more than capable for what you describe needing it for. There are a few instances where the long wheel base has advantages off-road.
