Really really quick question about tires and rims

    Sorry for the "stupid" question but I have a 08 Tacoma access cab SR5 (16" alloys i think) and my stock tires are 245/75/16. Will i be able to run 265/75/16 tires on the stock rim. Also, pictures are appreciated. Sorry again for the "stupid" question.

    I'm not 100% sure but i think that would work out fine. the off roads come with 265/70/16's and they fit with plenty of room.

    Thanks guys. I thought the rims had to be wider since the tires were wider. (245 - 265)

    Those numbers are height

    I have 265/75/16 on my truck and it is perfectly fine

    Really? I thought they were width and the 75 was the height.

    265/75/16 would look good. I believe that's the stock size for the TACOs with the TRD OR package. So you might want to take a drive down to the local dealership to check the look.
