Seems your M5 happy judging by the quote,"run of the mill Lexus". Personally I wouldn't lower any car I buy if I intend to use it for work, you're asking for trouble. Besides that, the E39 is great and all but if you're really wanting an M5, splurge for the E60, you won't regret a thing, except having to replace your tires often :burnrubber: I have multiple broker and real estate friends who drive Lexus LX's, F-150's, or Dodge Rams but only 2500 or above with cummins. I would not get a car for transporting anyone around, they will want comfort and room. Just my 2 cents.

Just kidding. Again I hate to admit it but my wife is right. I guess I'll drive a "sensible" vehicle and keep the Ms in the garage for celebratory burnouts when I close. :)

I'd just get some plain wrapper, run of mill 4Runner. Hauling signs with pokey bits in the trunk of an M5 sounds like a PITA.

IMO the real estate market is ripe for a correction, but that's another subject.

OP for sure should look into an F-150, about to purchase as a family vehicle either a 16 or 17 F-150 Lariat Sport. Lariat comes standard with leather, heated and cooled seats, im opting for the 3.5TT in either of them, the new 10spd is amazing and with 385hp and 470lbft of tq to back you up in the 17. But the 16's are at least 9-10k off everywhere and still have plenty of power at 365hp and 420lbft with the 6spd auto.
