Not sure if you have the Dakars (I don't), but in my quest for a lift I have a few concerns about the Dakars. I've read the ride is on the stiffer side, the Dakars squeak, and the lift is 2.75", which seems on the high side depending on the tire size. I'd like to stick with 265's. The progressive AAL's add about 1.5". How does the ride compare between the Dakars and a progressive 3 leaf?

It is worth noting, I went with the 3-leaf progressive because my factory leafs were brand new. If you have the TSB 2-leaf factory leaf pack, or an old 3 leaf factory pack that has sagged, money would be better spent on a new leaf pack vs an AAL.

I got a single leaf add a leaf installed last week.

It feels like the rear end rides way better, more stable and better control over road bumps. Haven't put many miles on it yet. 1.5 added to a 2+1 factory leaf, not as stiff as I had feared. Was going to go with the three leaf, and still would like to see what a full pack would do.
