Rear Axel Problem

    New Navigation DVD/CD/TV/AV/Bluetooth Stereo and seat mod spacers, 1" hubcentric spacers, seat heaters....
    if a bearing is bad, it just makes noise, however, more than likely the outer flange holding the wheel studs is bent, but it would take a pretty good hit to cause the bendage, like hitting a curb just right, something like that.

    A bad bearing would not wobble like a bent axle, but it will make a grinding noise and you could eventually see your axle pass you on the freeway if not fixed hastily...ask me why I know this....

    You had an alignment don't to verify something is bent? I have a hard time understanding the paragraphs in this thread.

    Funny you mentioned that, about a year ago I was on a very busy freeway and just happened to look on the other side to witness a Jeep loose his driver side rear wheel, tire and axle it began approching my truck need I say damn fast. It hit the centre devider and flipped a few times before coming to a stop, it happened so quickly.
