I bought new rear tires in June and there great tires but there wearing on the inside on both tires on the same tread blocks(pics below) so i started think is my axle out of alignment ?? I started looking and and my axle and leaf springs are crooked and out of line and I thought i saw my drive shaft going at an angle. Note that when I bought the truck it didn’t come with the stock E-locker axle the previous owner just put on a open diff idk off what? What’s the problem and how can I fix it I need to save these tires they were veryexpensive!! Please help pics below.

Looks to me like your leaf springs are all over the place. Your rear shackles look tweeked as well. Have you been doing any hard core off roading or had an accident?

Looks like your going to have to jack the truck up. And drop the rear axle. Pull the leaf pack out and see what's going on. Should be a centering pin at the bottom of the leaf pack to center the spring to the axle perch.

No the truck is clean and all from accidents but I’m sure the previous owner did do some pretty hard core wheeling that might be how it got damaged and yeah someone told me that the pin could be broken

your leafs are out of wack, you need to loosen or cut the centering pin, buy a new one and basically realign both of them

Bad (terribly bad) outer bearings could cause the wheel/tire to camber in at the top causing wear on the inside. If the bearing were that bad though you would likely know about it before now

Outboard rear axle bearing. The one your axleshafts are pressed into.

Alcan can make you a set of custom springs to suit you ride height, payload and softness. Old Man Emu, I believe wheelersoffroad and lowrangoffroad have some pretty good leaf springs.

Technically ours don't have inner so I guess axle bearings is what they would be called. It's probably not the bearings, you would hear/feel them. Have you supported the axle and tried to feel for play at the wheel?? That wear pattern is indicative of negative camber. We should not have any camber in our rear.

Not as bad as you think. I think I was quoted upper $300.00's for a set of custom made springs from Alcan

02 Tacoma, fixed with curse words.
I would unbolt the ubolts and drop the axle and see if you have a broken leaf spring center pin. If that's broke it's a $5 fix as opposed to a few hundred. Start with that.
