I'm having this issue as well, passenger side sticks out a good 1/2" further then driver side.
I also just noticed that on the driver side leaf spring, one of the leaf retainer bolts is scrapping my gas tank which i'm not stoked about.
The frame is new, recalled from factory and I also have the archive garage shackle flip.

Anyone else noticing that their leaf bolt is hitting the gas tank?
Or come up with a solution to shifting the axle over?

Can't help ya with the gas tank/spring contact but...

I had the same axle offset (It's pretty common I think) and it magically cured itself when I put the Dakars on!

My guess is, the factory spring bushings were offset a little at the front and rear:notsure:

The bushings that came in my springs (el095r) may have helped center things up back there. That's all I can think of..

Not on the rear end. That is what this thread is about.

And I can't even imagine what is ruining tie rod ends and shocks at the same time (Tacomas don't have struts, regardless of what catalogs and shops call them)

You might want start your own thread on the topic looking for suggestions. Give more details on what's happening in your case and remedies tried, mileage, alignment specs, etc.

Welcome, and good luck ferreting out your issue.

Thanks for the tips Bill. I'll have to give that a shot. I seem to find out more on here than I ever do at a shop.
