so I normally work with a stronger penetrant then Wd-40 but that’s another topic. You will need to use a pair of vise grips and a torch. Apply your penetrant I use pb blaster aerokroil or there is a home brew that can be found in the cheap mods forum on this site. Tap the fitting a number of times like your playing the drums. Heat up the fitting with your torch 5min should do and then clamp on your vise grips. Lefty loosey! tap on the vise grip with a dead blow. Once free take the driver side hard line off your other assembly and reinstall as that one is toast. If you can’t get the other off in good shape take it to a brake shop or learn how to do brake fitting and buy a new tool.

"Machinist's Workshop" recently published information on various penetrating oils. The magazine reports they tested these products for "break out "torque" on rusted nuts and bolts. A subjective test was made of popular penetrating oils, with the unit of merit being the torque required to remove the nut from a "scientifically rusted" bolt. Average torque load to loosen nut:

No Oil used ........................516 foot pounds
    WD-40 ..................... ........238 foot pounds
    PB Blaster .........................214 foot pounds
    Liquid Wrench ......................127 foot pounds
    Kano Kroil .........................106 foot pounds
    ATF/Acetone mix...................... 53 foot pounds

The ATF/Acetone mix is a "home brew" mix of 50/50 automatic transmission fluid and acetone. Note this "home brew" released bolts better than anycommercial product in this one particular test.
Our local machinist group mixed up a batch, and we all now use it withequally good results. Note also that Liquid Wrench is almost as good asKroil for 20% of the price.ATF/Acetone mix is best, but you can also use ATF and lacquer thinner in a50/50 mix. ATF = Any type of Automatic Transmission Fluid.

This version of the story was in one of the Military Vehicle Club newsletters

    Yeah.
That clip should slide off, probably needs some PB Blaster or that home brew, some tapping with a hammer, maybe some heat.

Absolutely not. Not sure what is going on here but it’s been way over complicated. Here is a video link. One of many showing it done https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=lye0CWwk8S8

    Yeah.
A longer breaker bar is nice to have to get things started sometimes. I don't think your contraption is helping much on the bolt, although it may help put you out of your misery. More PB Blaster or home brew. Leverage. Patience.
