Rear axle seal problems..AGAIN

    I’m doing my seals now. Both blew at same time . You tube says it’s a plugged breather cap on the differential

    Clogged breather cap seems to be a large cause of the issue. Since the start of this thread, I did eventually redo bearing and seals myself with a HF press and the correct tool to press everything on and off. My breather is also relocated to my gas cap. It’s going on 4-5 years now since I redid everything and I’ve had zero issues.

    lesson learned, do it right the first time (whether by a shop of DIY) and you don’t have to worry about redoing it shortly down the road.
