    Hey ya’ll

I’m in the process of taking off my left rear brake drum and it appears to be stuck. I got it lose using the 8mm 1.25 bolts, but it is caught. The shoes still seem to be pressing against it and I’m sure I missed a step. I did release the parking brake.

Any input on what be going on?:)

It looks like some springs of some sort came lose and making the shoe stick to the drum.

This looks like a bad wheel seal.

The shoes wear a grove into the drum over time. Sometimes you need to use the adjuster that you are supposed to be able to reach through a little tiny oblong inspection port in the drum backing. It should have a rubber plug in it.
