I have an axle shaft from my 07 Tacoma e-locker rear end, the last 1/4" of splines are stripped.

The last 1/4 only engage on the inside of side gear itself, the rest of the splines still engage the collar.

This would be a 100% functional trail spare.

My proposal is this, I can sell the shaft and just the shaft. I can even sell a driver's side backing plate as well if interested.

Or I can sell the shaft with the stock bearing.

As of now the bearing has been pressed off and the passenger side backing plate used on another shaft.

The bearing is a passenger side bearing, but this only makes a difference as far as the ABS sensor is concerned, it will bolt up to either side if the abs sensor is left disconnected. The bearing has 63xxx miles on it and is still in very good shape.

If used as a trail spare I would suggest leaving the backing plate off the axle and bearing, so it takes up less space, carrying a cap for the brake line, and limping off the trail with 3 brakes.

I currently have the bearing, a used sleeve, a used snap ring, a used washer, and 3 studs. Toyota sells the sleeve for about 30$, and the stud for a few bucks as well. I can press everything together if you desire, I can reuse the stock sleeve or I can charge the extra for a new sleeve. Same goes for the stud.

I can assemble it all, free of charge.

I can also install 6 wheel studs for a little extra as well.

Or you can buy just the shaft, I won't charge any more or any less (except for any parts from Toyota).

So essentially for the trail spare, no backing plate, no brakes, cap the brake line, limp off the trail with 3 brakes. Saves weight and room, still fully functional but lacking engagement inside the gear but not the collar.

I believe with much confidence that it will fit either rear end. Fits either side.

Sold with the understanding of AS IS, USED, TRAIL SPARE.

100$ plus shipping, all offers considered.

inner race is taped up (I can remove that too if wanted)

Bump for a nice deal. That's around $500 in new parts right there! Not to mention avoiding a potentially very expensive tow bill.
