I just installed Fox 2.5 DSC shocks and ran into a clearance issue on my left rear shock mount. I have 4 degree pinion caster shim which is probably the root of the issue. I ended up modifying my stock shock mount as well as put a small notch in the shock base to clear the axle. I would like to chop the stock shock mount off and relocate it up the axle a bit. Can anyone point me to a good option for shock mounts? Thanks!

You could also order the lower shock mount extensions that bolt on that are part of the ome bp-51 kit. They do sell them separate

Do you have a picture of what you mentioned? I have not seen an OME extension and I did a quick Online search which yielded no results. Thanks!

If you move the mount point up, make sure to measure! Dont want to bottom the shock out before being at full bump compression.

I dunno. I don’t have the bolt on kit. I posted it in response to someone looking for a no welding option.

I have the Archive trail series kit (2.0” body shocks) welded on my truck and love it.

There's several weld on kits, archive and BAMF both make good ones. Mine are 100% bolt on, just requires grinding and drilling.

I've installed archive and BAMF hangers for people, both are very solid products, but do require welding. Mine will get the top of the shock a little higher, so the bottom is a little higher for more clearance under the axle.
