hello I have a 2011 DCLB TRD. It came with a level kit. So not sure exactly how many inches. It sits A tiny bit high in front an whenever I have load in back it squats terribly. Embarrassing. Anyways I want to put ko2's 275/70/17. So I want To add a rear block in as well. Anyone have any suggestions for me? I think I will just go with 1"" in rear. Any input highly appreciated.

At least go with a single AAL not a block

Id use a shackle before block but blocks can be run with no issue if you use a block with a taper. Id messure from the center of the wheel to the bottom of the fender and see how much higher the front is over the back. It will tell you how much lift you need in the rear. Blocks wont increae load carry capacity though.

Now after doing some reading people are saying the 275/70/17 won't fit without lift. I took a picture off this site, it said 2" front 1" rear an it had the 275's bf's on it

I ran a Readylift 1" and I couldn't tell a difference in ride quality if that's what you are inquiring about. Now, some on here will say blocks cause axle wrap... blah, blah, blah. If you're just wanting to level the truck out, a 1" block will do the job on a low budget. I don't advise placing blocks over 2" because that definitely places stress on some components. If you have the funds and would be okay with a "stiffer" ride, you might want to check out add-a-leafs (AAL). AAL's add a leaf (or a few) to your existing leaf pack to achieve lift. These are much more practical, but are a little more pricey. You can even get progressive AAL's that add three or more leafs which will definitely change the ride quality. It all depends on your budget and wants. Overall picture, off-road: AAL, daily driver: block will be just fine.

So maybe what I will do is measure like 757 said. So I know what size to go with and then try a block. Guarantee won't be more then 1" and then take to tire shop an see if they can fit 275's of not go with the 265's I guess

Shit dude, I just wanted to trim my mudflaps and now ive got a 5inch lift and Dakars in the back. You might as well just do it once if you want to do it at all.

Yeah unfortunately I don't have the money right now. Maybe I will just go with 265's
So if you think I did the AAL I would be fine with the 275's and hauled my quad?
