So here we go, when I bought my truck back in July it had some brake noise. The dealer replaced the front pads which did not fix the issue. Then the dealer replaced the rear pads. This fixed the issue for a little while till the brakes started making a very minimal but slight noise and when I hit the brakes I could feel something was “ off”. Overtime it would randomly sound like something was binding up.

I just took the truck to a independent shop because I have no faith in the dealership at this point. The independent shop felt and heard the issue. Upon inspection the pads looked ok and the drums did as well. I opted to have them take everything apart to inspect , make sure everything was set right and replaced the pads and drums.

After a few days the issue is back, I’ll be contacting the independent shop but I’m curious if anyone has had this issue as well. Again it only happens when braking.

Are you sure it’s not just the brake booster?

    I don’t believe that’s the issue but I won’t rule it out.
