No money, all went to truck...
Hi all, after I wash my truck and have parking brake on (manual) over night, they get stuck. This morning I had to rock the truck to break it loose. I'm super paranoid because my 2nd gen got so stuck it had to be towed to shop to get unstuck. Twice.

Anyone have the same issue? The 2 solutions I've used before is drive the truck several miles after a wash or chalk the wheels and leave brake off. But seems stupid to have to do on a new truck.

Nope, its doesn't happen to me on my truck. It happens on the T4R though probably because the 4R stays in the garage and the truck stays outside where the outside air dries it off.

There was a plug that was amended for 18-21 models that would seal the drum brake, but it doesn't apply to the 22 model.

So either they did a small change or they simply never updated the TSB. I can't share TSB's, nor can I find the US # anyway. Maybe someone else can find it.

Classic drum brake crap. Mine usually brakes loose if I mash the brake real good or if that fails, turn on the locker. I’m seriously considering a disc brake swap (not just for this reason, but it’s up there)

I go for a short drive after washing the truck to dry the brakes in the winter. I park on a flat surface so I also don't use the barking brake when conditions warrant.

    LS1 swap with nitros.
Same happens here. If the rear is locked up, give your brake pedal an extra hard push. On mine that usually frees them up after 1-2 tries.

I daily drive my truck and I always leave it in N and use the ebrake.
My truck gets washed weekly in the winter, most days it's around 20f during the day and 10f at night, and never had freezing problems on the ebrake. The 1 mile drive from the car wash to my house seems like enough to get all the water out of the drums.
