    The should be one to adjust the the shoes but you have to pull the drum to look at wear

    okay was looking for a lazy man method. guess i will put truck on lift and take off tire etc. thanks

    There is already an inspection hole there.
    The problem is, it’s small. It’s hard to see anything and you need a good light.
    I tend to knock my head off the bottom of the truck every time I crawl under and try to inspect them.
    It’s almost easier to take the drums off.
    I can tell way more that way. That’s how I did it the last time.

    sold an '05 TURD auto w/184K on it.......

    OEM rear brakes were still good

    Pads were changed at 120K

    I agree, much easier to pull the drum inspect and then clean before reassembly.
