I was wondering what to do with the boot of my Proportioning valve leaking could I just put a zip tie on this rubber part to stop the leak, and how much of a hassle is it to replace it or install a delete Kit? Thank you in advance.

Brakes matter. A zip tie is not a fix

Replace or remove the offending part. Either choice is a step towards safety.

Needs to be fixed, you'll lose pressure eventually.
