Hello All, quick question and first time doing this. I've seen some video showing how to remove the rear bumper, but I am only looking to align the passenger side. I want to be sure I don't over do it with loosening too many bolts. My passenger side was slightly pushed in and up. I see the 3 bolts on the bracket which hold it to the frame. Are these the only ones I loosen to make the adjustment, or are there others?

    thanks,

There are 2 bolts on each bracket that attach bracket to bumper. Loosening these will allow some tilt adjustment as well.

The outer ends of the bumper easily bend and have a cheap support bracket that bolts in the back. You can simply hang on the lower edge and it will usually pull back down and out. Those brackets can be purchased separately if you care to. Rock ledges love to push those bumper ends up and break tail lights. Pulled mine down a time or two but only real solution is a new aftermarket stronger bumper if it bothers you.

    Thanks muddog and Homeline

I will try your suggestions as well because loosening the bolts on the bracket that’s attached to the frame didn’t do anything.
