So I've got a OR DCLB -- love the truck and utility of the long bed, though for getting off the pavement I've noticed the departure angle can be an issue...have dragged the hitch quite a few times and on my last trip managed to chip some paint off the underside of the bumper.

Aside from getting a lift/tires I was planning on going the route of high clearance aftermarket bumper + tire carrier for beefier tire -- my main concern is maintaining the functionality of the:
    a) rear camera -- seems like all of the tire carrier units would block the view of the camera
    b) blind spot monitoring (BSM)
    c) parking sensor

I'd appreciate any recs that will allow for functionality of all or (as many as possible) of those technology features. I'd imagine there'd be some way to relocate all of these sensors....

@CBI Offroad Fab makes a great high clearance with tire swing out.

It does block the camera so you do have to relocate it on the swing arm.

I can not speak to you other items because I do not have those features on my truck. I can tell you CBI is great to deal with.

You most likely won't be able to have the combo of Blind Spot Monitoring AND a high-clearance bumper - generally the high-clearance version is lower in profile, not allowing enough room for mounting of the BSM electronics.

C4 Fab makes a good full-utility bumper, including the ability to maintain the BSM, which can be configured with the tire carrier, a fold-down table, the jerry-can holders, and a camera relocation bracket. Based on the design of the above CBI bumper, the departure angle would probably be about the same, except the clearance would be equal along the back, instead of tapering up toward the ends of the bumper.

I ordered the C4 Fab bumper, due to their ability to retain the BSM. Look at the Overland series - http://www.c4fabrication.com/produc...erland-series-rear-bumper-system-bsm-support/ - if you want to see the options as they are installed, check out the page for the high-clearance version (no BSM support here, though).

Any high clearance options that don't require cutting the bed?

I like the look of this bumper, I just wish it ran down the sides as well like the high clearance. Be nice to have that added protection.

I have the C4 Overland series t3.jpg high clearance bumper and I can go places now I only dreamed of. It has the backup sensors and the backup rear camera relocate. No BSM tho. The fit finish and metal work is amazing and no squeaks!

I mean, you probably shouldn't be looking at bumpers period if your worried about resale value...:notsure: especially when it concerns with cutting up the body of it better make sure your decided on keeping it or not. :D

2 gallon. But I believe a three will fit there. I bought my relocate bracket from Pelfrey built. I have a thread around here somewhere with a tutorial on relocating the rear camera, which I have done since the post above.
