I have a 2010 dbl cab 4x4 which I purchased in October and just noticed rust forming on my rear bumper. I was wondering if anyone else has experienced this. I have to call dealer and hopefully get a new bumper. I really can't believe this!

There is another thread about this exact same thing- The other folks have had good luck with getting Toyota to replace the bumper as Toyota has acknowledged there is an issue with the bumpers.

mine has been replaced with 3800 miles on it,heres the dealership slip
as you can see i requested a black one--i think the chrome is either real cheap or justr a bad batch of it.get it taken care of asap with a dealer and it wouldnt help to invite them to look at some of the threads here with pics of what is going on with some of the bumpers.they probably could all be tracked back to one producer

Thanks for the update. I will have to look at the black bumper and see if I like it . Very disapointed and with everything going on it makes you wonder. I had a Ford Ranger with over 200,000 miles hardly any rust or problems. I wanted a 6 speed which many companys don't even offer anymore(Ford are you listening)

I wouldn't complain about issues with your Toyota here. Other people get very upset and will call you a cry baby. Serious. Just suck it up. Deal with it. I complained about issues before and everyone jumped my shizznits. GO Toyota!!! Yeh baby!!!
