    Is the black piece on the rear bumper supposed to move. See pic attached.
    Also is the gap on the rear bumper step supposed to be the same from the left side and the right side?

    bed is miss aligned. Check the gap between it and the cab and you will see. its an aesthetics issue. if it bugs you take it to the dealer and they can square it up for you.

    Simpleton is right, but this may be more than an aesthetics issue. If you buy a plate bumper, it may not fit right and in my case, my shell wouldn’t meet properly with the cab due to the bed being misaligned.

    Get it aligned with your warranty for free and ask for a free rental car while you are waiting for it to be fixed by your dealer - mine was aligned perfectly after taking it into their Toyota body shop and they covered everything, including a two- day rental.
