No luck with a search on this topic. Does anyone know if the rear cupholders located at the rear of the center console can be removed easily in an access cab?

My big dog tells me it's annoying to have those cupholders jutting out into his riding space.

    Thanks in advance.

Do not know if they are the same but my 2015 AC is easy to take out. Pull out the little rubber mats in the cub nippy things, remove the 4 screws, it lifts right out. There will be a metal bracket attached to the floor but that can also come out easily with the removal of two bolts.....possibly 12mm.

Hope that helps, you did say cup holder, mine are small storage cubbies but the concept should be the same.

Believe it's integral to the console.

That entire rear console between the jumpseats totally removes. It's just two bolts if I remember. When I removed mine for my dog I installed thin black automotive carpet to cover the holes in the rug that will be exposed.

Like the other guy said above, pull up the little rubber mats and you'll see the 10mm bolts.

He's asking about the cupholders in the back of the center console, not the little cubby on the floor, which is what you guys are telling him about.

That's all part of the main center console. It's one big piece of plastic

I was afraid that it might be integral to the center console. Thanks anyway for all your input. In my OP I was NOT referring to the cubby between the two jump seats but thanks anyway.

Will have to splain the situation to the big dog now. :)
