Had this recall fixed 11/17, checked 2 days ago, it’s now leaking on both sides. Anyone else having similar issues?

Looks pretty minor. Just slight weeping. Unless you are planning to go on a major road trip you could probably wait until your next scheduled service. Fortunately, although I am on the recall list for the diff leak, I have not had any leaks so far.

I’m not worried. Just a bit of a inconvenience.
    I have an appointment today.
I was curious to see how common it is among recalled/fixed tacos
    Btw it’s 2017 dclb sport

If you mean fix as in they just re tightened the bolts down and sent you on your way then they never fixed it properly. It was bound to leak again.

They should have replaced all gaskets and washers with new ones and refilled your diff fluid. That's the real fix.

They did all of that, I have receipts showing all they’ve replaced. All that you mentioned was done

Change out the diff breather to a two way like the ARB and relocate up into the bed or behind tail light.

My theory is the stock breathers get stuck and pressurize the diffs pushing fluid past the gasket.

I'd be surprised if that fixes it. As they suggested, keep an eye on it.

I had the recall done under warranty TRD OR. Now at 54k it is indeed leaking in the exact spots as before along with 1 spot on the driver side and surprisingly on close inspection out of the pinion. Appointment made w/ rental.

I am in the same boat. Truck was fixed in july/August 2017. Now leaking again... took it in last week and was told it was left over residue from the repair that didn't get cleaned off properly. Bring it back in a 1000 miles to be checked agsin.:annoyed:

They know I am coming back.... no need to piss in the Kool aid of the ones fixing it. They didn't build it.... they are only stuck with fixing Toyotas mistake. As long as they are willing.... no need to call corporate.
