You might not be, but it sounds like you are implying that slowing to under 3 mph to engage the locker is more convenient than engaging 4wd below 65 mph.

Im not really implying anything, as i had the Locker engaged the entire time every time I’ve done testing. It’s just another tool in the bag and plenty of people who have done the gray wire mod or have had a locker available will agree it’s an advantage.

Why do plenty of people think it’s a advantage to slow to under 3 mph to engage the locker rather than engaging 4wd under 65 mph?

come on man. this product is clearly not for you but is wanted by many so why argue. i dont even know what your trying to argue tbh... locker anytime mod is extremely popular on 1st and 2nd gens for a reason. your a use the locker as a last resort guy. we're use the locker first people. when i did my 1st gen it was a game changer and i just cant go without now that i own this 3rd gen.

I’m simply trying to understand why this is a popular mod. Many people say it’s awesome without any sort of logical explanation for why. Maybe I’m missing out on something, but I”m not going to go the trouble of modifying my truck until I know why I’m doing it. I don’t know why people get so bent out of shape when asked why they think something is true.

The one decent explanation I’ve heard is that the locker in 2wd is good for drifting on dirt roads. That makes some sense too to me as I understand that many (all?) drift cars have locked or limited slip rear diffs.

I don't think it is OUR job to convince YOU to spend money on a modification with YOUR money from a company this isn't OURS.

There’s always this for justification. Sometimes it simply is what it is.

Checking in to see if there’s an ETA for the 2LO option yet, and/or confirmation that the existing 2LO setup is compatible with this - thanks!

Still not sure 100 percent however we have confirmed that we do not interface the same wire so they should work together

Great, thanks! Is your own spin on it still in the works? Not having either yet, if yours is a $30-40 add-on vs. $130 or whatever for the stand alone 2LO, well, that's a pretty obvious choice for me at least.

Will this be a youtube thing eventually? I'm not a facebook'er, but I apparently am needy today..

You are fine lol ask anything. Well because we believe it works with the 2Lo mod I don’t want to undercut the guy that makes them it also saves me time for The few other projects I’m working on.

But i will message you the YouTube link.

I was a little conflicted on that myself and the fact that you are taking that in to consideration concerns me, since I thought it was just a bunch of dirtbags here on TW. Anyway, I figured there may be some redundancy between the two systems that saves/reuses existing hardware for the locker mod which yields a lower price but maybe not necessarily a stand-alone competitor - but if there's not, I'm in agreement with you to support OG dev.
