Does anyone have a place they recommend purchasing a replacement seal or the part number? Should you get a new dust deflector or any other part while doing this?

You may want to have a diff shop do the seal. If you're not familiar with diffs... And install a solid spacer ($40). Once you remove the pinion nut (in order to replace the seal) backlash and preload need to be maintained to spec. With a SS you can replace the seal at anytime w/o setting BL or PL...

You'll want the crush spacer. Maybe new pinion nut if staying stock. I honestly retorqed the old pinion nut 6-7 ft-lbs with the old spacer and after 25k miles of wear the diff shop that recently installed my solid spacer said all had good patterns. My Napa seal started to fail, which is what I used in the OP.

    Input your VIN here: http://www.toyodiy.com/parts/

Follow directions, and locate the proper seal.

When you find your p/n for the pinion seal pm me. I have at least two seals in my parts bin I can't use that I'd be happy to give away.

If you decide to have a diff shop do the seal I recommend pulling the axle half shafts and yank the third, it'll save you munnies. You'll probably want to also buy gear oil, black gasket sealer, both hub-axle seals and know how to bleed the brakes.

As a safety note: if you do the job yourself, make sure the truck tires are chocked to keep the truck from rolling once you remove the driveshaft. You do not want the truck to accidentally roll over you when under the truck.
