Rear differential lock location

    hey guys, i have a 2016 Tacoma and it looks like i might have a problem with my rear differential lock sensor and for some reason the internet doesn't know where its located. Somebody out there must know?

    Blue and black wires into the connector.. it will be under a little cover, go ahead and unbolt the cover from the diff housing.


    However
    DONT JUST TAKE THE SENSOR OUT....

    To start with, you will want to just unhook that connector and leave it unhooked (secure it out of the way).

    Sensor (switch) is closed (grounded) when diff is locked, so disconnecting it will just correlate to how it should normally be without the diff locked. Drive truck and see if it is normal.
