    Casing bolts?
Do you mean the propeller shaft bolts causing the pinion seal to become compromised?

Thanks everyone. I do appreciate it. It was 10 hours ago and I'm still reeling from it. and I agree. how the heck could the bolts come loose from the factory? What else is going to shake loose??

I don't even want to drive this truck again at this point!

It's fairly well documented on both 2nd and 3rd gens. So is low trans fluid

I apologize for my remarks, was convinced this was another troll thread. If you have the time and patience, could you show us what the dealership ends up putting on the paperwork as the cause?

No worries my brother. I will if I get paperwork on it. I really have no intention of ever driving that vehicle again. The replaced the wiring harness a few months after owning it because they said the installer jammed a broken plug into a receptacle and that was shorting out and causing a brake override malfunction warning to come up on the dash. So if they can't put the wiring harness in correctly or torque the bolts on the rear diff correctly what else is wrong and will I be able to handle the next issue that I have.

I can't say I blame you. I have some small issues but nothing like this. Good luck man, glad you're ok.

Wouldn't you have notice differential oil leaks under the truck where you park (garage/carport)? Something sounds fishy (dealer that is)
