Check your local department of commerce, they should be able to help or direct you somehow, good luck...

My dealership alone has over 50 waiting on parts, some over 2 months. Love to contribute more but gotta get back to my RAV4 discussion group.

Yes all 3. The dealer has to be given a chance to fix the issue. Otherwise everyone would return their vehicle 2 years after they bought it for full money back over something stupid.

Would be nice as a collective thing if everyone effected by this not driving their vehicle could at least get the time that their truck has been in the shop taken away from payments. I would be happy w that. U wanna keep my truck for 2 months? Ok pay the two damn months then!

On no no no. If u bring it in for service they will only do the service. U have to make sure the appointment is for the recall also. If not they will do the bare minimum

if you don't want a Camry, demand something else. i was in a loaner for 8+ months. had a Camry, 4 runner, and highlander during that time. if the dealer doesn't help, contract corporate.

Can't do that for me I bought my truck outright. So the only thing they can offer me are upgrades and platinum warranty.

I wonder if the Lemon Law applies to Vehicles for Recalls.

A few weeks ago I did some internet research on the question (there are lawyers out there that specialize in lemon law) and the answer is in general no unless they fail to fix the problem (for example, if they do this recall, then your truck starts leaking again and they keep it again and can't seem to get it fixed). On the other hand, sometimes a good lawyer can work wonders in getting them to settle on some sort of compensation. IMO its hard to have a case when they give you a loaner, but that is my unprofessional opinion not based on any research.

I just went to have my oil changed in my 16. The service writer said if the differential is leaking they have to keep the truck.
I'm thinking three or four days. So guess what, there are signs of a stain not a leak. So the service writer comes out and tells
me that they have to keep the truck and they will put me in a loaner. So I said " so when will it be done " his response was three
to five months. I asked if he was kidding he said no that Toyota is only giving out a limited number of kits. Naturally I am number
ten in line. I love my Tacoma truck but when i am right side up on the loan Ford here I come. I understand your confusion.
