Rear disk brake conversion for 2005 up Tacoma

    I am trying to find a rear disc brake conversion kit for my 2008 taco found a few but not exactly thrilled with my options who makes the best?

    There are kits but they pricey and a waste of money. Since there isnt much weight in the back changing to discs is one of the better ways of wasting your hard earned money. If you want better breaking upgrade the front. There is a reason why rear drum brakes last a long long time, its because their workload is considerably less then the front.

    Not sure what the OP wants to accomplish that cannot be done with the rear drums.

    ^Don't waste your money. Tacoma's have some of the best stopping distance out of the competition. Don't fuck with what works.

    i can lock up all 4 wheels at 60 mph without even trying.... rears always lock before the front, why the hell would i want more stopping power in the rear!!!

    Like stated OP, upgrade the front if you want better stopping power.... but leave the rear (maybe SS lines in all 4 corners but thats it)

    I go through a lot of mud because I live in Florida and it super easy to work on disks vs drums but will stick with stock thx
