    Trailer brake, 30" Light bar,
I drove the truck about 600 miles yesterday parked it in my driveway and out the ebrake on. This morning I disengaged it and the truck couldn't move I put it in 4x4 and noticed only 3 wheels are moving.
When I push on my e brake the first inches of push feel like there's something with slack.

Does anyone have any info on thsi?

Try tapping the drum with a hammer.

You are probably going to need to replace the e brake cables. I've read water gets in right at the drum and corrodes the cable.

Your cable is probably rusted, I'm curious, do you use your parking brake all the time or rarely?

I haven't used it for at least 6 months. I'm thinking it's frozen as it is -1 today. Alot of salt in MN I'm hoping It's just the ebrake and not the diff.

Sounds like the e brake is frozen

I've had this happen to me before after I washed my truck and then it froze that night

It was about -6 last night when I got home. About -1 right now. From everyone's input and past experiences I'm hoping its the E-brake. Thanks everyone for the input.

I got the truck moving again. I went under and pulled the embrace cable for drivers side wheel and that disengaged the brake. I'm assuming that cable is gonna need replacement. I pushed on the ebrake pedal after freeing the truck. This Caused The Same Issue I Had. After going back under and just pulling right where the cable goes into the drum everything goes back to normal.

My Wifes car had a wheel lock up once. It turned out a portion of the parking brake had broken and kept jamming itself and kept the tire from turning.

This happened to me once. Temperature was about 70 degrees and I use my parking break regularly. Happe ed once, took me 10 minutes or so of actuating the brake and rocking the truck and got it moving. Never did it again.
