I'm to a point where I'm having to replace my driveshaft. I have about a 2.5-3 in lift. I have been trying to research the one peice driveshaft and if it's worth doing or not. I have a local shop that thinks they can do it for me but will be a couple weeks. The shop has never done it before but I trust the guys work and he's looking into it for me. I don't know the cost yet. I can have a new stock full driveshaft in two days for $545. But I'm stuck with the stock 2 peice with this option. Is there anyone who has gone to the 1 peice and really sees no difference? Should I just get the stock driveshaft or wait and gamble with a 1 peice conversion? I like the idea of the 1 peice but just havnt found enough reviews to convince me one way or the other. Thanks

I can't answer your questions but I'm curious about a couple things.

What's wrong with your current drive shaft?

Did you find anything about a one piece being more vulnerable if you wheel your truck?
