Looking to do a custom build on a Tacoma.

Does anyone know the year(s) and model designation of the Tacoma's that had the double axle in the rear and were used for heavy loads such as campers or utility vehicles. Any insight would be appreciated

Are you meaning a dual rear wheels or 2 separate axles?

I am open to suggestion. The first inclination is a dual rear wheel as the simplest and most practical, however, the two separate Axles such as the Mercedes G-63 certainly sparked the imagination (and isn't that why we are here?/!)

Any insight in either variation that Toyota may have done, with model numbers and years of production would be appreciated

I think a couple of the Icelandic trucks have had legit dual rear axles. Can't site a particular build though.

    Never seen a DRW Tacoma.
I have only seen a DRW older model Toyota Pickup.
