I think we in trouble until someone makes a side specific leaf pack, hanger etc. Wouldnt be ultra difficult but i havent seen one and its certainly not a new issue. Anyone wanna go halfs with me on a pair of 1" blocks? o_O

If I understand what is being said, that's tilting the bed, not altering the suspension. Might work to put a carpenters level on the tailgate, but it will won't acutally 'fix' anything.

@jberry813 thanks for the 'strut' lesson. I get so tired of hearing people call it that. For most of the world the terms are interchangeable now, but to me it only shows they don't know what they are talking about.

If all the 'leveling and lean correction' folks ever corner weighted a performance vehicle, they'd likely freak out. Because it's a high probability that neither axle will match side to side, and there will almost always be a rake.

BTW, correct measurements are from the frame, not the fender to hub reference commonly used. So if you are insisting on de-engineering the vehicle for looks, at least measure that.

pickup truck does not equal performance vehicle... reason for corner weighting a car and leveling a truck;2 completely different reasons.

One is for looks the other for performance.. pretty much the exact opposite.

OK lets call them "shocks" ... to fix the lean use a 1/4" spacer on the drivers side shock tower... I just did it yesterday with my truck. It's now level all the way around - at least looking at it ... it "looks" level with a full tank of gas. That's all I care about and is the answer to the OPs question...

I don't know what else to say about it... some of you all don't agree but have the lean. I "fixed" my lean and am sharing how I did it
This is a known fix and has been around for

... to each there own I guess.

The issue with OPs lean is only on the driver side rear.

Not sure what the argument is - a spacer on the front end isn't going to fix the driver side rear being low.

:amen:Not sure how to delete this smiley but anyways...

If the front is perfectly level side to side and already has a spacer to correct that lean, why does everyone keep recommending to lift that corner? Lets do science. Grab 150lbs of cinderblocks or sand bags and put them in the left rear corner of your bed. Go get a floor jack and put it under the left front corner jack point. Lift up .25". Lift up more. Keep lifting. Tell me at what point the rear corner lifts. Its obsurd. Therefore nothing short of like a 4" front spacer will work to bring up my left rear corner.

Yay! You own a Tacoma! lol

Almost all Tacomas have a slight driver side lean in the rear. One of the many, many quirks Toyota never thought were worth fixing from 2005 to current...

I've got a trim packer spacer on my OME setup on the front left. The front end sits basically level. It's the rear (driver) that still sits low.

And before you say "fuel tank" it doesn't matter if it's full or near empty. The truck always leans left in the rear. And I even have OME Dakars (+ on the driver, - on the passenger). Still leans left.

Oh - I can't find the struts on my truck. :( Maybe that's the problem. I ain't got none.

Whats slight though? Was slight but lift definitely made it much worse. Im off 1.25" side to side without my fatass in it. Which is noticable...

    This is not slight:

Admittedly it's hard to capture the Taco Lean in a photo - especially when it's raining. LOL

I figure if my 67 year old mom noticed it and asked what was wrong with my truck, it isnt slight. She hasnt noticed i lifted it 4 months ago so yeah...

Just tell her it's posing for a picture :rofl: /jk

Mine leans just a little when the tank is full, I don't really care as long as it's not hurting anything.

If the coriolis effect is causing my lean, next time they do a Koenigsegg meet, ill kindly request they all line up and smash the accelerator simultaneously while facing west in hopes 1000000000ft lbs of torque can alter the earths rotation enough my truck drives flat again

Yup the 1/4" spacer on the front right strut...errrrr shock tower fixes the lean in the rear... the truck is actually leaning in the front AND the rear.. it's just more noticeable in the rear.

What would I know... my truck both lifted, level AND not leaning... go figure.

I must of got lucky .... or wait.... I listened to the folks that sold me the lift kit AND the $20 spacer.
