    With the failure seen it could easily have the parking brake stuck on because of damaged cables. So many variables could have caused that .

    Far from civilization is being middle of going up Steele Pass from the Springs and having to turn around to go to Bishop NAPA for parts, fixing the broken rig in the parking to go back.
