Rear end issues

Won't go backwards but will go forward screams brakes to me. And it's entirely possible to have a stuck drum and not use the E brake.

 

Ya know I may just do that take it into a dealership in LV just to be safe I mean shit it’s still under warranty so they gotta take a look at it

 

It goes backwards now it just felt stuck at the gas station Honestly felt like it was trying to catch but wasn’t going anywhere then went forward and then back again slowly and it was fine minus the horrible noise

 

Yeah, initially it wouldn't go in reverse, but forward, right? And now it goes forward and reverse?

I'd still swing by a local dealer.

That wasn't you in the Hoover Dam area a couple hours ago was it? I just came back from Prescott and there was a silverish 3rd gen driving pretty slow.

 

My trucks a mgm 3rd gen with a wide C4 hybrid bumper haha and yeah definitely was driving slow

I can't think of anything different that the others have suggested, but as far as dealerships here Findlay is the biggest and their service dept is very busy. I've had really good luck with David Wilson with quick turnaround in the past.

 

How is a 16 still under warranty, did you buy it used from a dealer?

 

The power train warranty is 5 year or 60 k

 

And thank god I’m still under 60k

 

It's the 5 year one that may hurt... what's the production/ sale date inside the door and when did you drive it off the lot?

 

Haha then nah I don’t think that was me yeah I’m gonna call the dealership first thing in the morning and hopefully get the truck in there fingers crossed they can get it fixed within a day or at least get me on the road the next day at worse

 

So per Toyota vin check date of first use was June 10, 2016 so in that case I should be fine

 

I just hope they don’t give me shit about any of my aftermarket mods which I don’t have any yet in the rear just 315s
