My 2017 had the rear end bolts retorqued at 5000 miles, no leak. Am wondering if this is a good fix or will it start leaking at a later date. Seems odd some leak some dont. Has any one had the leak start at a later date after having retorqued?

Retorquing doesn't fix the gasket. The gasket usually keeps it from leaking if the original torque values were adequate for the seal to mate properly with the third member and axle housing. May need gasket replaced.
