Anyone else have random clunk/bang on deceleration around 25 mph? Sounds like a loose u-joint. Service techs say they can’t replicate. Has current trans update. 2016 OR 2wd

Yep! When cold! Dealer said my u joints weren’t torqued. But it still clunks occasionally when I don’t sit an eternity letting the truck warm up completely leaving work.
Since I have it documented, if it breaks will be on Toyota. Hopefully I can get that new suspension before long and that will take care of it!

Mine does it sometimes, more so when cold.
What I really hate is the dead body rolling around in the bed thump caused by the fuel tank sloshing around.

Yeah I'd say it happens very infrequently, like less than once a week. Only seems to happen on quick stops from low speed and yes it does seem to be more frequent or possibly even only happen in colder months.
