    Good afternoon.
I have a quick question my 2007 tacoma prerunner v6 has a gear ratio of 3.73, woth electric locking rear differentials, my rear diff blew up and im looking for a new rear end for it. Do I have to get one with electronic locking rear differentials, or can I get one with the same gear ratio with no locking differentials, as the price difference is 1000$ and I cant afford to get one with the electric.

You are 2nd drive so you don’t even really need to have the same ratio to drive it. 4x4 would need to match the front differential. I’m sure if you get one without the e locker it would work but not sure if it would set codes.
