    sucks with these trucks, any rear end totals them becuase the frame always bends in that same exact spot...time after time after time

    I was rear ended twice awhile back but luckily I had this part for same my truck. First time I was hit at 25 mph, and the second time it was 25-35 mph. I don't have pictures of the first one because it did no damage to my truck and I laughed at the guys car damage. The second time It did damage the bumper a little bit and flatten my exhaust tip. I had the Toyota dealership go through for any frame damages for both time. On first time I was hit, it was square hit. On the second time I it was off to the right as you can see the pics. No frame damages so this part paid for itself twice :thumbsup: http://sparebumper.com/index.php

    The steel plate will be fine but the bumper zone is designed to crumple to absorbed the impact for occupant safety.
