Rear ended but no damage to my truck what should I do?

I was rear ended and he hit the receiver. Did bend his license plate in but no damage to my truck. I filed the claim anyway and his insurance inspected (body not frame) and cut me a check for $170 to have my bumper removed/replaced (no idea why) and the receiver buffed. I couldn't see any reason for it and the body shop wanted the truck for two days. I said f that and pocked the $170 for my troubles.

 

Thanks y'all I just really love my truck like all of us does. I really take good care of it and hurt me when that clown accidentally hit my gem. I was so lucky and blessed that I am and the other guy were safe. I don't see any obvious damaged as I said and after reading all your thoughts I will just move on and not bother to get my truck inspected. It's a 2018 model and don't want a accident history in my carfax since its not damaged and will result to depreciate the value of my truck. Thanks y'all!
